Brighton and Hove CC and Solar Together Sussex are inviting residents with suitable homes to sign up to a group buying scheme for solar energy. Some residents have received an invitation letter – and anyone can sign up – even if you haven’t had a letter. By registering your interest you will receive a personal recommendation for a solar panels and battery storage, based on the details you’ve submitted. There is no obligation to accept this.
If interested you need to sign up by October 6th. The more people register, the better deal each household will receive. An auction will be held on October 6th where pre-vetted installers will submit bids. The most competitive package will win the auction.

From October 26 anyone who has signed up will receive a recommendation. There is no obligation to continue and you will have up to December 11 to decide.
BHCC are working in partnership with other local Sussex councils on this new scheme. It aims to offer high-quality solar photovoltaic (PV) panels to help deliver their pledge of becoming a carbon neutral city by 2030.
