Another Hollingdean Parking Petition

11th Mar
hollingdean hillA petition requesting a consultation on permit parking for Stanmer Park Road has been launched. This follows on from petitions currently ongoing for and against parking permits, focussed on Hollingdean Terrace, Dudley and Roedale Road. It states that Stanmer Park Road was severely impacted by the introduction of Zone J, Zone F, Fiveways and Zone G, Ditchling Gardens and Hollingbury Road in 2016, due it being the nearest road to Fiveways without resident permits (a previous petition was set up by Emma Rompani in August 2016).
Since then the petitioners believe parking conditions have deteriorated on Stanmer Park Road. They say impact is that at any time of day or night residents struggle to park anywhere near their homes. This petition for a parking consultation is here. All three petitions will be presented to Brighton and Hove City Council’s transport committee meeting on March 19th.

No, please. These schemes create more problems than they solve. We should petition to have them removed from the entire city. That way everyone can park!!
