Refashion old clothes at the Open Market this weekend

This weekend – on Friday 23rd and Sat 24th July, community sewing company Sew Fabulous are hosting a free 2 day event at Brighton Open Market, where you can learn to love your old clothes again.

Every year 300,000 tonnes clothes in the UK end up being dumped. You can learn new skills to help you reuse and refashion clothes.

There will be workshops, clothes swap, screen printing, drop in activities, preloved clothes and fabrics for sale.

In addition Freegle will be hosting a Kids clothing and sportswear FREE ‘Bring and Take’

There may be drop in places on the day so do come anyway! They will try to fit everyone in.
