Bonfire night – No trains stopping at Lewes or Falmer later

5th Nov

It’s Bonfire Night which means trains running through Moulsecoomb won’t be stopping at Falmer or Lewes later this afternoon.Bonfire trains

National Rail enquiries say:

“Due to public safety concerns, no trains will call at Lewes, Glynde, Southease or Falmer after 17:00, and Cooksbridge after 17:20, for the rest of the day. Customers wishing to travel from London to destinations on the Seaford Branch should catch a train to Brighton, to connect with a train for stations to Seaford, as there will be no interchange at Lewes”

If you’re celebrating with fireworks and a bonfire, have fun, stay safe and be considerate – remember neighbours, wildlife and pets may not be as keen on loud bangs and fires as you.
