Brighton and Hove CC are consulting on whether double yellow lines put in place on Lynchet Close during building work – should become permanent.  The lines are outside the Children’s Centre, and newly built Salehurst Close. They were originally put in place to enable the building of Salehurst Close.

A plan of where the double yellow lines are can be seen here:

To view the consultation see BHCC traffic regulation proposals scroll down to Lynchet Close.

Deadline for comment is Friday 8th February.

I think yellow line should be all the way along lynchet close So many works vans and lorries parked on road blocking views for people getting on and off driveways

Since the double yellow lines have been brought in and also the ones in Brentwood road there is very limited space for parking, cars are parking on verges, greens, and also making it hard for disabled and buggy’s to pass through safety.
There are always buses not being able to pick passengers up as cars are obstructing it’s route,if the yellow lines were removed I’m sure all these problems would disappear, unfortunately people need somewhere to park their vehicles.
